There are a lot of cat accounts on social media to keep you entertained. Trust me, I follow most of them. However, there are 6 cat accounts that I keep up with daily. These are the 6 that are my go-tos when I am having a bad day and need a reason to smile. And let’s be serious here, with the way the world is right now, we ALL need a reason to smile. So, without further ado, I present the 6 best entertaining cat accounts on social media right now (in my personal opinion and in no particular order).
3 Southern Cats & Momma
3 Southern Cats and their Momma are a newly discovered cat account for me. And I am not sure how I was surviving before finding them on social media. Willow, Tigger and Weezer, along with their human Momma, live in Mississippi and have never failed to provide me with a smile, chuckle or a literal LOL! I was hooked from the moment I watched their 1st video. And then spent the next hour watching all of their videos. I cannot get enough of this account.
Willow is full of sass and comes up with the best sayings, like “Hocus Pocus Witchcraft Shit”. Tigger is a handsome Norwegian Forest Cat and is a definite southern gentleman who loves a good beer. Weezer is the youngest and is full of energy and spunk. This is a “talking cat” account, which are my favorite accounts to follow, and all voices are provided by Momma.

Owl Kitty
If you are a fan of movies, then you need to check out Owl Kitty. A sweet black cat named Lizzy, who was rescued as a kitten and lives in Oregon. Her humans, Tibo and Olivia, decided to use some amazing video editing skills to cast Lizzy as the star of some of our favorite movies to help bring awareness to the struggles that black cats have when it comes to getting adopted. What an amazing concept and one, being that I have a great fondness for black cats, that I was instantly attracted to.
Owl Kitty’s video take some time to create, and I find myself waiting with great anticipation for her next “movie” to premier. I first discovered Owl Kitty with her Jurassic Park remake 3 years ago. I was amazed at the skill that was used to create the video, along with the absolute cuteness of Lizzy. She has since starred in many of my favorite movies, such as Jaws, Dirty Dancing, Pulp Fiction and so many more. Be sure to watch the Behind the Scenes for the movies. They are great and shows just how much time and dedication these videos take.

Nathan the Cat Lady
This Cat Lady is a guy and his name is Nathan Kehn. He is the Cat Dad of Pickles, Annie, Ginger and Princess. Nathan is an actor in LA and creates some hilarious film content with his cats. I am going to say that I truly believe that Pickles is the mastermind behind most of the content. Content ranges from skits to product reviews to just “normal” videos. You will also see videos of Nathan channeling Snow White with squirrels and crows. You never know what you are going to see when you follow Nathan and his furbabies, but you will always be entertained. Nathan also brings awareness to cat issues such as TNR and nutrition.

Newt, Frog, Toad & Doug
These boys, Newt, Frog, Toad and Doug, are the cats of comedian, Drennon Davis. Some of you may recognize his name from some of his comedy sketches. He was also a semi-finalist on Last Comic Standing. Drennon started making videos of his 4 cats, providing voices for them and it is HILARIOUS! Seriously laugh out loud funny!
Newt, Frog and Toad are ginger boys and Doug, well, Doug is black and white and not part of the Ginger Boys Gang. Their videos always put a smile on my face. Especially the newest ones where the boys have a crush on their “sitter”, Linda. Linda is an opossum and nowhere interested in starting a relationship with any of the cats, but that does not stop them from writing her poems or drawing her pictures in an effort to woo her. Be sure to follow them to stay on top of their attempts to win Linda over.

Chicago Black Cat
I have been following Chicago Black Cat for a few years now. At the time, it was only Mikita, a sweet black boy that was adopted by Andrea & Rich in Chicago. Since then, Mikita’s has acquired some feline siblings and a human sibling. Dahlia is an amazing floofy Maine Coon that was adopted after she was retired from breeding. Ravi was a foster but has since moved up to adopted brother status. There are also foster cats that move through as Andrea and Rich open their home to fosters in need. They currently have a foster named Frosty, a beautiful white cat.
Mikita has always been a spokescat for how awesome black cats are. Now, he has backup with Dahlia, and they have turned into a power duo of the black cat community. Chicago Black Cat videos vary from entertaining to educational. It was through Mikita that I learned about a raw food diet. Cat Mom Andrea uses the social media platforms to talk about topics like nutrition and fostering and cat enrichment, along with providing cute cat content.

Veronica & The Baby Boo
Last but not least, Veronica & The Baby Boo. I found these 2 girls on TikTok a few months ago and have been hooked ever since. This is another “talking” cat account and it does not disappoint. Their videos are always entertaining. The conversations that happen between Veronica and The Baby Boo are exactly the conversations that I believe my cats have. Maybe I should see if my cats would like to go on video with their conversations.

That’s All Folks…
And those are my fave Cat Accounts to follow. I truly hope that you check them out and follow them all. I promise you will not be disappointed. Sometimes we need a mental break and for me, and hopefully you if you are reading this, that mental break comes in the form of watching cat videos. When these cat videos make me smile or laugh it is even better. Be sure to leave me a comment on which ones were your favorite or if you have a cat that you think I should check out.
