I am all about setting intentions for myself. The more that I have been incorporating the “woo woo” with my cats, the more I am realizing how important intentions are when it comes to keeping them happy and healthy. Recently, I have been setting intentions for my cats as I feed them or give them their supplements or even, just playing with them. I do everything with the intent that it will serve them in the highest good and keep them happy and healthy. Our minds are very powerful and if we start to focus on the positive results that we want, those positive results happen. Setting intentions for my cats is important.
Words are not just words
Last year was a tough year for me and my cats. I just under a year, I helped 3 cats transition over the Rainbow Bridge. Zazzles developed severe anemia. And we discovered the mass in Emmet’s GI tract. It was a lot. I started wondering if I was actually manifesting sickness in my cats. Was I so worried and stress that they were going to get sick, that I actually was making them sick. That my thoughts of constant worry and concern were actually manifesting in reality.
So, this year, I have made a very conscious effort to choose my thoughts and words carefully. Putting my focus on positive thoughts and keeping in mind that my thoughts will become things. It hasn’t always been easy. We still have been dealing with Emmet’s mysterious GI mass and his heart murmur. So, anytime he seems off on his eating, I get concerned. I then have to remind myself to keep my thoughts positive and focus on how I want him to feel, which is healthy. Changing my thinking has made a huge difference.
Achieving results with my thoughts
For the past year, I have been focusing on keeping my thoughts positive when it comes to my cats. Especially Emmet. Each night, he receives his supplements and micro dose of prednisone. I started calling them his “feel goods” instead of medicine. I want him to feel good and my intentions for his supplements and such is to make that happen. And, it has been successful. Emmet has monthly vet appointments to keep a check on his health issues. Everything had been going well until last month. Not only could his vet feel his mass again, which means it had gotten bigger, but his heart murmur had gotten worse.
I was devastated. We had been doing so well. And now I felt like we were back at square one. Instead of falling back into a pattern of stress, concern and worry, I made the decision to step up my manifestations and intentions. I started preparing their food with the intention that it will nourish their bodies. As I add their supplements to their food, I set the intention that the supplements will help them to stay healthy. A few days before Emmet’s last appointment, I had started Emmet on a mushroom therapy from The-Two-Crazy-Cat-Ladies. I also started to double dosing his Catalyst supplement.
With each supplement that I gave him orally, I set the intention of what I wanted to happen. Each supplement received an intention. “Healthy heart”, “Smaller mass”, “Good appetite”, “Overall health and happiness”. For a month, we set our daily intentions, and I believed in them, for intentions only work if you believe they will. I visualized them working for him in his highest good. We recently had Emmet’s monthly appointment and the vet was very happy to report that his mass has gotten smaller. The only reason she was able to feel it was because she knew exactly where it was located. He still has his heart murmur, but it has gotten worse, so we will take that as a win.
Setting New Intentions
I truly believe that not only the amazing supplements that Emmet has been taking, but my intentions for those supplements are the reason that his mass has gotten smaller. We will work on his heart murmur next. Keeping a check on my thoughts this past month has not always been easy, but I knew how important it was to focus on what I wanted for him. Putting my energy to the results that I wanted, not the results that I feared. Reminding myself to not get stressed if he didn’t eat as much as normal or if he didn’t want his nightly “reward” of whip cream. Remember how our own energy affects our cats. Keeping our thoughts and intentions positive will help keep our energy positive. And that will make all the difference for our cats.
