Mantras With Your Cats

Lily is loved.

I am sure most of us is familiar with the movie, The Help, starring Viola Davis and Emma Stone. In this movie, where is an iconic scene with Viola Davis’ character holding a small girl and telling her, “You is kind, you is smart, you is important.” Those words held a profound effect on many people. It became a sort of mantra for many. Mantras have been gaining popularity over the years. But what are mantras and how can you use mantras with your cats?

Mystical Formula of Invocation

Mantras have been around for years and mainly associated with meditation. However, a mantra can hold great power anytime. Words hold tremendous power and energy. There has been research that has shown the effects of positive and negative words on plants, cells, and even, water. It is all so very fascinating. So, it would make sense that the words that you choose to speak to your cats would have an effect on them.

I make a conscious effort to choose my words wisely when talking to my cats. Emmet gets his nightly “feels good” instead of medicine and supplements. I have started to bless my cat’s food as I prepare their plates, invoking that it will sustain and nourish them in their highest good. Recently, I have started using mantras with Bodie to help ease his fears and the tension between him and Zazzles. Every night, Bodie and I have some alone time where he gets lots of pets and words of affirmation, like “You are loved, you are safe, you are important, you are heard.” We have been having great success which has been amazing. Although I shouldn’t be surprised.

Choose Your Words Wisely

We must keep in mind that our cats are extremely sentient and energetic souls. If you believe in the energetic frequency of words, then you understand the power they can have. Mantras can be used to balance your cat’s chakras, help them feel safe and secure in their environment, and even, keep them healthy. Remembering to choose your words wisely is the most important thing. Using mantras and affirmations can go a long way with our cats. Try it for yourself and see how your cats respond.

Bodie knows he is loved.
