Those Who Matter…

Over this past year, I have been venturing down a new path with my cats and my life. Actually, maybe not so much a new path for me personally, but one that involves my cats. I have been all about the “woo woo: for myself for many, many years. It has only been in this past year that I have started to utilize the woo with my cats in the form of crystals, herbs, and hydrosols. Very successfully. So much so, that I am journeying further down the woo woo path. I am sure there will be those who scoff at this new path, but I am reminded of the Dr. Seuss quote about those who matter don’t mind.

All for the cats

If you have been following me for a while, you know that I believe that our cats come into our lives with a purpose. Something that they are meant to accomplish with us. Some are teachers here to teach us many lessons. Others are mirrors here to force us to look within and work on ourselves. There are many different purposes that our cats may have in our lives. Learning your cat’s purpose is one way to help they stay happy and healthy. I have been learning my cats’ purpose with me over the past few months and it has been not only eye opening but very helpful in providing each of my cats with what they need.

However, we have still had some health and behavior issues among the cats. It has been a challenge at times. We have had great success with balancing their chakras with crystals, herbs, and hydrosols but there is still some minor health issues and the tension can still be felt lingering in the air. I knew there was more that I could do for them but wasn’t sure what. And as always, the Universe provides me with what I need at this moment. Exactly what I needed to not only help my own cats, but other cats as well. And that makes it even better.

Holistic Modalities

Over the past year, I have been increasing the holistic modalities that I use with my cats. I started with animal reiki and muscle testing. Those were my first two certifications. Providing herb gardens for my cats to self-select from came next. It was amazing to watch them choose they herb that they needed and how they needed it. Shortly after, I added crystals and hydrosols to the mix. During that time, I began learning about my cat’s chakras from Naturally Cats and participated in her Cat Chakra Course. It was starting to click for me. I became certified in Crystal Healing for Animals and Herbalism for Animals and started my own business, Moon Mojo Feline – Energetic Kits to Help Your Cats Shift Their Energy.

A couple of weekends ago, I went further down this new path and completed a 10-hour Animal Communication course with certification. And here is where the Dr. Seuss quote is important. When hearing about my animal communication certification, I have been asked if I was now Dr. Dolittle? Or if talking to animals is the same as talking to people? And are my cats now like Salem on Sabrina the Teenage Witch? They laugh and joke and scoff and think I am crazy, but that is ok, because those who matter…

Animal Communication and More

One of the main reasons I wanted to learn animal communication was to be able to connect with my cats on a deeper level. Because I know they have purposes and lessons in this life, I believe that being able to connect with them will help them achieve their purpose. Being able to communicate with them will also help me determine what is needed to ease, and eventually eliminate the tension between some of the cats. Mainly Bodie and Zazzles. Connecting with Emmet will help me understand where his health issues are coming from and what we can do to help him. Animal communication will also help during the monthly spay/neuter clinics that I volunteer at by connecting with the many scared cats that come through and help to ease their fears.

However, my path is not stopping there. Starting in January, I am embarking on a 24-week, 6-month accredited program as a Holistic Cat Practitioner with Sylvie Sterling. All of those courses and webinars have led to this. Always looking for new holistic modalities that I can use with my cats to help keep them happy and healthy has led to this. I am beyond excited to begin this course and learn as much as I can to not only help my cats but other cats as well. Once again, there will be those who laugh and mock and scoff at this choice that I have made. And once again, those who matter…
