Almost a year ago, I had one of the biggest a-ha moments in regard to my cats. Realizing that my cats had so many lessons for me to learn was eye opening. I started looking at my cats differently. Seeing them as furry little teachers. Ironically enough, most of the lessons they had for me were about things that I needed to work on within myself. Makes perfect sense. Then, a couple of months ago, it went even deeper. I realized that not only do my cats have lessons for me, but they also have a purpose of their own in this life. One that does pertain to me and my purpose. They are here to guide me along my path. For you see, my cats are my guides in this life.
Your Cat-Your Guide
This realization came when I ran across a post of Facebook from Sylvie Sterling, The Cat Whisperer. It was about your cat having a purpose based on the 10 Cat Archetypes. I immediately checked it out. Learning about the different archetypes and discovering which cat was which archetype was not only fascinating but enlightening as well. Some of my cats I was quick to determine their archetype. Lily and Emmet are my Joybringers. Zazzles is my Supporter and Lover. I wasn’t completely sure about the others. But, the opportunity would arrive.
Shortly after, I attended a webinar with Sylvie on the topic of our cats being our ascension guides. If you know anything about me, you know that this topic is right up my alley. So, without any hesitation, I signed up for the webinar. I was completely blown away. Things started clicking in relation to my cats and the behaviors. It was very enlightening and left me wanting to learn more about how my cats are my guides. I signed up for Sylvie’s 5-week course, Your Cat – Your Guide. It was 5 amazing and enlightening weeks that has transformed not only my life, but my cats as well. I can honestly say that not only have I strengthened my relationship and bond with my cats, but I have strengthened my relationship with myself. And that has made a huge impact on my cats. I learned about my purpose, my soul path. I learned how to connect with my cats and my spirit guides.
Cat Guided Path
All of this led me to realizing a new path that I am being guided to. One that is not so new to me alone, but new to me AND my cats combined. I made a decision during the course. One that was both scary and empowering. Things started to fall into place quickly and with little effort. Definitely a sign that I am on my intended path. I know all of this is very cryptic, but I am not quite ready to share everything at this moment. But soon, very soon. Just know that I am by lovingly guided by my cats and I trust them deeply.
